Comics Journalism is a new phenomenon.  Here creators of Comics Journalism use visual medium to tell the story or disseminate information. Comics Journalism travels to one specific area/field and collects information and documents, incidents in visual form and later unfolds all information and facts in one story format. These stories are mostly first person accounts, but not always.

World Comics India has developed a 6 months diploma course at University level in Comics Journalism. This course is soon to flag off in different Universities in India.
