During class the teacher thought that he did not feel like teaching. He sends a student to get him beetle and tobacco. After relishing it, he sends the boy to fetch water for him. The next day when the children were playing the teacher scolded them and put them into work to clean up the school. After few days, the teacher asks the boy to keep his food in his house. The boy refused, telling the teacher that he had to study since his exams were round the corner. On getting less marks in examination, the teacher thrashes the boy telling him that if he would have studied this would not have been the result. And at home, the boy is beaten up the mother because of the poor result.

What Is This Punishment (Download )
A villager told a man that Gopal hit his sons a lot. The man exclaimed and told him that it was Corporal Punishment. He explains that any physical punishment given to children is corporal punishment. This is what happens in schools and homes. In many states it has been banned. And under Child Rights provision it is even a crime. The villager then told the man that then in this case everyone should be told about this. And this is why, this Campaign is taking place in our area.

Once a grandfather told the children to study hard in school and follow the teacher’s instructions very carefully. On this, the children complained that The teacher teaches less and punishes the students more. The teacher sends the children for his personal errands. He makes them stand on the bench and still the boy’s legs were hurting. Another girl complained that not only in school but even at home the mother burns her hand. The mother beat up the daughter. The father hits with a broom. The grandfather realizes that it is corporal punishment and that they need to do something about it.

Pratibha (Download )
Pratibha dreamt of becoming an officer. She scored more marks than his brother in school examination. The father allows the son to go to the city for higher education. Pratibha asked the father to send her to city as well to pursue her education. Despite her repeated requests the father dismisses her argument and thrashes her for arguing with the father. Her mother locks her in a dark room. Pratibha wonders if being a woman she had no right to study.

Pony Tail (Download )
A girl asks the mother to make his pony tail before going to school. The mother refuses telling her that now she was grown up and that she should do her work herself and to also help the mother at home. The next day the girl is doesn’t find time to make two pony tails. She thinks that how it matters it she can’t make two pony tails, after all she is only interested in studies. And in school, the teacher points out the girl and pulls her hair accusing her of being fashionable to school. The teacher then took a pair of scissors and cut the girl’s hair.

Teacher’ Coaching (Download )
Ramesh used to go to school everyday but didn’t take any coaching. The school teacher thrashes the boy because he didn’t take the teachers coaching. His friends also suggested him to take the coaching to avoid teacher’s wrath. But Ramesh told that he understands everything so why should he take the coaching. The next day the boy complains to the Head Master of the school. The Head Master takes up the case and the teacher is made to close his coaching classes.
