WCI with local organizations in North and South Chhattisgarh organised several workshops since 2001.
Sarguja- Community newspapers started by different NGO’s adopted the wall poster format to make the newspapers more comprehensible. To make the content more eye-catching and interactive, comics were incorporated based on local issues drawn by the locals. Some newspapers have switched over to the comics wall poster format.
Bastar- After a few workshops, local activists started producing comics wall posters as well as community wall newspapers. |
