In 2007 Sharad Sharma travelled to Brazil and conducted a series of comics workshops with various organisations and media students. Most of the workshops were organized in collaboration with Ashoka fellows and their organisation in Brazil. In Sao Paulo, workshops were conducted in collaboration with Viracao and Museu da Pessoa. Workshops on communication and culture were organised in Fortaleza. WCI also worked in association with Department of Justice and Human Rights in Belem.
