Lost childhood
Subani is the eldest in her family and in absence of her mother, who has gone abroad, she takes care of the house and the siblings. The major share of money sent by her mother is spent on drinks by her father. After being drunk, the father used to beat the children. Moreover, the family is in debt. Unable to cope with such adverse situation, Subani commits suicide. Subani’s death jolts the father and he repents.
